Kristian Lorén Lopez was born and raised in Philadelphia where, at an early age, she developed her creative passion for fashion. Lorén styled dynamic looks for her sister Sessilee out of tablecloths and curtains and sent her to walk the ‘runway’ for their mom. Years later, the Lopez sisters support and inspire each other, Sessilee a top model and Lorén a designer.

Lorén hustled working in product development, production and sales and studied design on nights and weekends at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). She went on to continue learning behind the scenes as an intern, assistant and eventually senior modeling agent.

Threading together all parts of the fashion ethos, Lorén started her own line designing clothing that give women their own outlet of self-expression, leaving hints of magic everywhere they go.

In 2018, Lorén was named one of Essence Magazine’s ‘Designers to Watch,’ and her looks were featured in Essence’s Fest Fashion House 2019. Kristian Lorén is sold in Bloomingdales, seen in Keen Magazine, Lucy’s Magazine, and Alice Magazine, and worn on the red carpet by Madison Rian, Shahadi Wright, Luvvie Ajayi, and Damaris Lewis.
